IMG, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Fragrant Group today announced the first Bangkok edition of The Color Run, the original color run in the world that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. Called the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’, the five-kilometre fun run gathers participants to run through clouds of coloured powder, and will take place at Queen Sirikit Park and Benjathas Park (Suan Rot Fai) on October 31 and November 1. The event is expected to draw over 16,000 participants.
“Thailand epitomises the many color themes used in the run which we see is represented in the country’s diversity, culture and creativity of its people. We are excited to bring The Color Run here on our next stop, as the Land of Smiles truly represents what we stand for. We want the people of Thailand to join us and be a part of a global movement,” said Greg Hooton, Vice President IMG Events and Federations, Asia Pacific at IMG.
